Here we go again…
I start by acknowledging the fact that I suck at it and please bear with me, don’t know when but eventually you will get to read the best of me.
On November 12th, 2019, I bought a brown notebook and started journaling in it, the thing I have never done before. Let’s together go back to that day, and try to suck out the feelings hidden behind first notes:
We are the choices we make. Choices, the most powerfull entities we have which could raise us to the summits or destroy us to the deepest place on earth if they are not made right. But what is right or wrong? How do we know whether we are making right or wrong ones? Well, I think you are the one who should define the meaning of those words for yourself, they are just 5-letter-words. Let me explain all by story, could you please imagine a handsome guy with browline glasses on subway and he has a first ever job interview in 20 minutes.We are gonna call him Ted. If things go normal, he is going to make it there on time. DING! Another station, doors open, this girl comes in with book in her hands right next to the place Ted standing. Now let’s jump into the mind of our character:
Wow, she is reading the book so beautifully, even her lips and eyes are moving in a really sexy way. I have never seen such kinda beauty in my life. Let me go near and see what she is reading. Weird, how could she read a book with full of pictures of theeth like that.She must be studying dentistry. Hold on a sec, I have this interview coming I should focus man. I better take the earbuds and listen ‘Adele’.
Ted takes the earbuds and accidentally drops his cash without knowing and puts the earbuds on before playing the music with his phone. The girl ,who was reading book stops, takes the cash and hands it to Ted.He smiles and says ‘Thanks’.
That was embarassing. It is not the first time, I should never put the cash with earbuds. But did you see how pretty were her eyes, I would love to spend my all day watching her reading those boring books. DING! Only two station left, mine is the last stop. What if I talk to her? No way, she might already has boyfriend or something, look at her. But how do you know without asking? U can’t do that , strangers are looking at you. But.. DING!
It is her station, she puts the book in her bag and gets out of the subway. The door closes in 5 seconds and subway starts moving to its last station. Now there are two choices for our character, first he goes after her forgetting everyting, second he forgets everything and keeps moving with the subway, he has 5 seconds to make the choice. Now interesting part, let’s see those two parallel lifes.
First one:
I don’t care what people think,I care what I will think about this moment tomorrow. I don’t want to remember myself for not trying. (3 secs) Look man after sometime everyone dies and no one would remember about anything, and now I say Fu** it and go after her because she is the one.(2 secs)
Ted runs out of subway, and soon catches up with her and starts talking, ‘You read book beautifully’. This where we stop, they both now keep making choices which effect their life we don’t care about that for now.Let’s see the Second one:
I should have started talking to her earlier. Now it is late, and I can not miss this interview (3 secs). Forget her, that is just a girl.
Door closes, Ted stays where he was, and subway starts to approach its last station. This where we get out of subway and come back to where we are right now.
Now, you ask me which choice is right in this case? I say whatever the choice you think right is right. But don’t forget every choice you make, whether it is small or big, gives birth to new choices. That was it for what is right or wrong, now you are one those people who understands theory of relativity :)
I think if you believe in yourself, imagine the life you want to live and keep making right choices for yourself , you will eventually end up in the life you have always wanted to be. But please do not google before making them, just go with your gut feelings and definitions. So that, you will be ready when you hear the next DING.
